Christmas Hanging Plaque

Supplies:

  • Hanging plaque with 3 squares
  • Carta Bella: Christmas Delivery (Paper, Tags die set and Jingle all the way stamp)
  • Acrylic Paint
  • Mod Podge
  • Foam brush
  • Paper cutter and corner rounder
  • Black pigment ink, clear embossing powder and heat tool
  • Baker's twine, 5 jingle bells and glue dots
  • Ribbon and foam tape or dots for tag
  • Glue stick or double sided tape
  • 1 1/4 yards of jute twine

Directions:

  • Remove the metal rings from the plaque.
  • Paint the wood plaque, let dry.
  • Cut paper for 3 squares 3 5/8 x 3 5/8" and use corner rounder.
  • Cut 2 pieces of paper for top panel 6 x 4 1/2". Lay the 2 pieces side by side and punch the 4 outside corners with corner rounder.
  • Use Mod Podge to attach paper, cover with Mod Podge and set aside to dry.
  • Trim photos to fit each panel and finish with corner rounder; attach to wood using glue stick or double sided tape.
  • Cut 24" of bakers twine; put one jingle bell on the slide to middle of twine. Tie a knot above bell; add another bell to the right about 1" from first bell and tie a knot above. Add 3rd bell to the left of center bell and repeat until all 5 bells are attached.
  • Tie ends of twine in a bow about 1" from last bell, trim excess twine and attach to wood panel with glue dot.
  • Use Big Shot to cut tag, stamp with ink and emboss, finish with ribbon bow and attach with foam tape.
  • Carefully poke holes in paper that line up with holes in wood panels; reattach wooden squares to panel with metal rings.
  • Slip jute twine thru attached hangers and tie in a bow.
